I need some honest feedback from you guys. If we were to bypass getting a DJ in order to have even more money for MORE raffle prizes would that be OK with you? Tim did get us a good deal with a DJ, even though I haven't spoken to him yet. Everyone is already getting a t-shirt, but it never hurts to have a chance at winning more raffle prizes. Please post your opinion. Thank you!

bypass the dj. if someone has a radio and an ipod we could just do that by the stage.

I agree. I already know of at least ONE SRT owner that will be hookin his car up with some nice sound units before October.

You'll probably still want to look into some sort of PA system though. Youre going to have to make announcements and it seems the size of the crowd will preclude yelling. Cost may be close enough that you might as well have music too.

I'm not going for the giveaways, but for an organized event to meet fellow owners.

$12 per CSRT4 or NSRT4, not per person. I wanted to keep the cost as low as possible.

You'd be surprised, but my voice can carry LOL. People are usually quiet when I call out raffle ticket numbers and announce trophy winners from past events. But having a microphone and speakers will definitely help!

Thanks, Tim. And yes, you definitely got a deal for us. I appreciate all the feedback that I've received so far in this thread and via text messages. I'll definitely talk to the DJ when he calls me and see what we can do.
I know I can't make everyone happy, but I'm trying my best to make the majority happy.
It's going to be a great weekend. How often do we get this many SRT-4 owners together for an event like this?
And who knows when this will happen again?
