Thank you for the informative post Dan. However I do find a few discrepincies. For one, you did not arrange nor plan for anyone to bring there vehicle to RFR. Heres a few tips Dan. For one, and I know this ones gonna be difficult for you. MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS. The people on here are grown-ups. They dont need you to hold there hand all the time. You also might want to grow a back bone and confront the people you always talk shit about. such as, even though you have come on here many times, either talking crap or insinuating crap about us. You have yet to call me once and tell me any of this. Any time I have talked to you its been "hey hows it goin, im doing.....". If you have such a problem with me, then just say it, and dont think by just insinuating that I cant read through your BS. Just tell people "hey dont go to RFR, I have some new people doing the work for me over at this shop. Take it there".
Also, I wouldnt reccomend you throw stones. We've got a car sitting at the shop right now that were fixing, due to you telling him you could fix it. Then never coming through. I dont believe you saw any of us jumping right on the forums to tell everyone how, even though you screwed up, its ok. I'm still not even sure what bullshit your talking about with Ians car. We told him about the few problems that car still had from when Jessie bought it. You remember Dan, the car you asked us to fix because it would barely run. We ended up doing a ton of extra work on it and barely charged him anything for all the work we did. Now, i'm sure you probably don't know what all was done to it, since you didnt touch a thing on it.
So, I gotta go, I got work to do. In ending, piss off Dan, get a life, and if you have a problem with anything we do in the future. Come see me and we'll discuss it.

Learn to appreciate your employess instead of letting him/his family nearly starve, get behind on their dues etc just so you can afford to keep your shop open/operating. Because i didnt like how David was not being paid for weeks etc is why i didnt want to be part of RFR, i wouyld send side business to him so he can support himself/his wife. Im a real friend what are you? Trust me, you got quite old along time ago. Sure you are educated and have military service under your belt for that i respect you but what i dont respect you for is how you have no knowledge of the cars you claim to specialize in yet you try to come off like you know it all. So with that said , the car in question....chase's car lets see....has 3 gearsets, 2 of them rebuilt gearsets performed my 30+ year Chrysler senior tech which used 2 new 3/4 synchro the last one being one he paid for, 2 new 3/4 shift fork, replaced the cables, replaced the Shift selector plate and a new trans case. See the issue here is you guys think you know whats going to fix his car but you dont so dont try to come on here and sound like dan this dan that. I spent well over $1500 of my own money not to mention countless hours of my time trying to correct his issue. So please spare me the sob story trying to make it sound like you guts are the end all and be all of transmission repairs
Its sickening to see how a person who has always paid people to do everything for him can sit on here and try to sound so knowledgable and intelligent sure you have the bank roll but what you lack is tact and people skills. those RFR 5 layer gaskets....hmm 2 stockers take a layer off one and presto combined to be a five layer same shit DCR does which is who you guys copied i mean shit charge 90 for something that cost less than 50 to do. Granted i could keep going like how you barely know how to tune using SCT or how if it wasnt for david you guys wouldnt be able to tune SAFCs. Man for an up and coming shop you guys certainly are pretty arrogant, but its ok man what you posted above is prettyy far from the truth but for the sake of looking right/better you'll say anything.
See mark what you fail to realize is that while you may THINK you know, you dont. That will be proven here shortly and attempting to offend me is very low even for you. At any rate i will be more than glad to have those individuals who have been wronged by RFR post in a seperate section their concerns and what was promised/not delivered.
