lol...well drew went to 7200 on a stock motor with ems...but how is the pcm allowing it to pass the rev limiter
There's only about 2-3 ways possible. I've always been a firm believer that I have to see something inorder to believe it. I only believe things I see, so video proof would be nice. Drew on the other hand had the EMS so I don't need any proof as I know its possible with EMS.
He's probably not going to spill the beans, probably sworn to secrecy
From a little birdy I heard about "backyard" flashing these pcm's in which you can change the rev limiter and another thing is changing when the fans kick on. Illegal... yes, is there an SRT-4 in town who has had it done... that I know of yes and there might be more. But I'm only fully aware of one.
quick question whick is the fastest srt over there in tampa???? we're going next week with my friends srt to race.....
There's a few. The fastest of all has been parted out but there's a few fast one's lurking. As far as the fastest... meaning the only one... there's no one at this time as I've yet to see any head to head battles for such title.
several ways to get the end result and i am able to get it done regardless. Could have gone to 7650 but stock cams dont do much after 7200 and bottom end still has the BS assembly. It was merely for testing purposes as the turbo really comes alive those last 700 rpms and i am proud to say to everyone that there is nothing illegal here you just gotta know what you are doing. As for fastest srt4...i dont concern myself with knowing or caring to know who is the fastest....many have come and gone so at this point and time i concern myself with helping those who call upon me and they are normally not looking to be the fastest just have a "quick" car.
SCT ftw right tim
