Hi all, just checking in. BigBird... I'm sorry to hear about your car, good thing your ok. Everything's ok over here. Still on the second shift but I have a feeling it's not going to be for too much longer. When I get back to the first shift, I'll be able to meet up with you guys for a night of drinks. The wife is doing fine, pregnant but fine. Joey is doing good, we have a Dr's. appointment on the 2nd of next month which is going to be a nail bitting experience. He's walking and running along just great. The bottom of his foot looks like the grand canyon but he doesn't seem to complain. Me on the other hand.... all I do is complain "at work that is". I'm working short staffed, my Lieutenant is on my last fuckin nerve, and I'm sick of not having a life on this shift. I get up at 630am every morning because that is what time Joe gets up. I see my wife off to work and then I take Joe to school around 10am. After that I come home and eat, shower, and then prepare for work. I leave for work around 12pm. I'm on 8 hour days right now but really they're 12's. Anyway work offically starts at 2pm and goes till 1030pm. I usually don't get out of there until 1130pm and I'm usually home by 1230am. Now as soon as you get home, do you go right to sleep or do you have to wind down a bit? Well I have to wind down a bit, so it's usually around 2am when I get to bed. And just like clock work Joe is up by 630am and then the whole thing starts over the next day. Did you notice how much time I get with my wife? 15 Minutes as I see her off to work. This shit is for the birds! Done venting... I'll see you guys soon. Tony.
