Jason, You were talking about getting some everyone together for a charity event or for a good cause.

Well Saturday July 19th at Seminole Lanes it is the 2008 Pet Bowl. All funds raised from Pet Bowl will help the SPCA Tampa Bay continue to increase adoptions, provide emergency medical care for sick and injured strays, investigate suspected animal cruelty situations, educate the public on the humane care of pets and so much more!

It would be from 10:30 am to 2pm.

All team registration fees include three games of bowling, shoe and bowling ball rental- the third game will be Galactic Glow in the Dark bowling.
Each bowler will receive a Pet Bowl Shirt, free lunch and one free chance drawing ticket.
Each team will receiveone complimentary team photo.

We would have to raise $175 that is for a team of five bowlers. But if we have two teams that would be great. I know the price sounds high but it is for a good cause. And we dont have to put all the money in our selves, we can ask co-workers, family, friends and neighbors to sponsor us.

Just a thought.

Cheryl, that's a great idea. Let me see if I'm off on that Saturday.
If the $175 is the total amount for a team of 5, that's only a minimum of $35 each, which is really easy.
Sounds like a fun event and it's definitely for a good cause. I'll get back with you on it and hopefully we'll be able to get some support.

Thank you, first we need to find out if we will have 5 bowlers or 10 if we can get two teams.

I know Tim and Ozzy like to bowl.

I'm no bowler either Dan lol, just ask Tim and Cyndi, Juan and Tina, and Ozzy. I throw gutters for a bit, get a handle of it, and still come in last lol. I would like to do this event for fun though and like you stated its for a good cause.

As far as sunshine, we won't be able to make it. My brother is in town from the Coast Guard, he just graduated from boot camp last friday, and will be stationed out in Alaska for 3 yrs. He's only here for a few days so were having dinner at my mom's house.

If we do a team of 5, we would need just 3 more people. Because Cheryl and I will do it, so that's two there. If we get enough interest we can have (2) teams of 5. Hope your able to do it and make it out as well as anyone else that will be available that day. Even if your not the greatest bowler, come out to have some fun .
