the plan is to frequent the local meets from now on and help those who ask/need it. Im not one to avoid meets because there are people i dont care for...its a free country and i go where i please regardless of whos there.
You mean to tell me ur srt4 will actually see the light of day?
I was thinking of the new Kawi, but after reading many reviews, Kawi has softened the power on the 600, and upset they didn't make the 636. The new 1000 is fugly.
Still drooling over the 1098, and actually liking the new cbr1000rr. But may stay towards the R1...just can't get back on something smaller, if anyone ever rode a big bike would know what i'm talking about.
Nice bike...you'll love it. Good luck, and keep the rubber down
By the way...anything done...besides the painted wheels, tinted windscreen, & fram sliders/handlebar end sliders?
Everyone may have one...but they're actually good bikes...
Juan,
Me and a friend bought this bike together so we had to get what fits both of us. We were not too concerned with power of the bike due to him wanting the most possible gas mileage out of the bike and this being my first bike. We both were in love when we saw the looks of this bike. The tear drop headlights, the frame sliders, the fender kit, the cowl seat, the aftermarket exhaust, the painted wheels, the tinted windscreen, and the 3 years no maintenance out of pocket what so ever is what made our decision on this bike sooooo easy. Also we both got Joe Rocket Kawi Jackets that match the bike beautifully. My friend will have the bike on the weekdays and I will have it on the weekends. We bought it with 0 miles on it and plan on putting quite a few on it by the time we are done. As soon as I can I'm going to get the bike blessed as well as myself so that God may be with me while I ride. I am not going to end up road hamburger! Well, off to work. C-Ya's..... and thanks again. Tony.
smart way to purchase it too cause im sure you'd prolly be too tempted to ride it all the time if it was only you getting on it. Rode my friends 02 r1...wasnt that impressed...rode a CBR600 and was moved....still have this thing for busas eventhough id be a paperweight on it

I havent sat on an older r1, but to me, the newer ones were uncofortable as hell. The tank almost came to a point in my balls. Sat on one for a good 3 seconds before i put the stand back down and walked away Im riding a cbr right now and its alright. Seems to touchy on turns to me. My older SRAD gsxr was comfortable and rode like a touring bike. My friends 07 gsxr 1k was ridiculous. Hydraulic clutch and the ability to change maps from 600,750, to 1000. They are stupid fast too. Busas, zx12/14r's, ect...are just too much for a bike in my opinion. They look like limos and have so much power/tq that most is almost unusable.
