Just so everyone is aware. The drama between RFR and I (SRT-hookups) no longer exists. We settled our differences and figured out how the problems arised. To my surprise I and they are in total shock as far as what they told me and what I told them. Seems like this has been going on for awhile and there's a individual to blame for rocking the cradle and causing such un-neccessary disturbence within the SRT community in this area and as a whole. One thing that bothers me the most is people who make shit up or flip stories to benefit themselves or make themselves look good.
SRT-hookups is NO LONGER offering any type of Services and hasn't really been in quite a while. From this point forward this is none. I have an online store and working on another full featured website. I/We are not in competition with RFR. Anyone needing any sort of service/install done on their SRT-4 I highly suggest taking it to RFR. They are now local once again.
What I want everyone to understand is SRT-hookups was created to help FRIENDS who own the same car. This being small installs... such as... DCR oil modifier, fuel pump, wastegate, boost leak test, basic maintenance, etc. It was never intended to become a full fledged business or anything drastic of the sort. I've never pulled engines, I've never dropped transmissions, I've never changed clutches or any major components on these cars. Hell I don't even know how to remove the turbo-fold. So I suggest before anyone says I'm doing shit at my house without even having any capable tools to do so you do some research before running off more shit then a cow having a stomach ache from eating bad grass.
I work 55hrs a week... I work 6 days a week FULL TIME job outside of this side deal of SRT-hookups. SRT-hookups, the little money I did generate went to going out with my wife to places, or ordering food (pizza, pasta, etc.).
For those who said I was taking away business from RFR and everyone was coming to me... I would like to say... YOUR FULL OF IT. I hardly have anytime to cut my own grass yet alone stack up SRT-4's on my driveway to work on. For one.... Cheryl doesn't allow me to store cars here, Second... I don't have such tools nor equipment to do so. I carry a tool bag with common basic tools anyone can get and oh let me not forget my tube of zipties which everyone who owns this car should have for those oh so common boost leaks/vac lines popping off.
SRT-hookups was never intended to run anyone to the ground or any company for that matter. How can I... one person... at a house that doesn't even have a garage compete with actual shops? I can't and I wasn't trying to.
Lets get something else straight... we are not buying RFR products and copying them to under cut them. The products I sell are made by an individual thats not even in this state and I have not met in person. I offered to sell his products and that's what I'm doing. He's a designer/fabricator and comes up with his own styles and unique stuff. Even if it "may" be the same not everyone's product are the same. The product profit on my end is minimal, so its me doing someone else a favor. I don't have tools or any sort of equipment to make anything NOR do I know anyone local that can. Not to mention I don't have the time to do so nor the investment to do so.
RFR is backed by SRT-hookups and anyone needing anything I will refer them to RFR.
