its now happily cornering/rolling with a 7k miles 05' trans and a few other lil touches that he'll enjoy. Cant wait for them to get back from their much needed European vacation this week and yeah on the outgoing trans the 3/4 shift fork made like a twig and snapped
you guys would not believe why the SRT transmissions weight so much, the casing itself is fairly light itself but its the gearset that stunned me. Once i looked at the whole setup i realized why the input shaft is so prone to snap as well as the 3/4 fork. Will be learning the art of repairing these T850 for you guys' future needs
I am firmly aware that should i be given the opportunity to drive anyone's SRT4 that its on a i break i fix agreement case and point this car. Although it wasnt entirely my doing i ate the purchase of the 05' trans, all the parts needed for the install and install itself. I'd like to thank my friend David Lee for helping me with this task, his wife for keeping us fed/entertained and my GF for not understanding my hobby

You very well know the trans was shot as was the clutch...i did the axle but that stemmed from previous abuse. Glad you seem to wait 2years to try and poke a joke about that day.

to finish off that thought, the silver car ive been racing and modding since late 03'. Tom is an extremely good friensd of mine, has helped me alot and has always kept me in mind when he needs work done. This last trans wasnt entirely my fault but since it started grinding after i made A pass i agreed to fix it and then some to make sure our agreement was met. I made 1 pass in your car and didnt even get off the line on the 2nd...i then made sure i did everything possible to get the car taken care of. Shouldnt make jokes to try and get a reaction, i have nothing to hide in regards to that day but also dont appreciate this comment. To the rest....as im sure you were told else where "dan breaks people's car and doesnt fix them...." if you listen to predjudices from the haters you'll always be misinformed. to them i say:
prove it!
I leave no one hanging and i go well out of my way even if its not my issue. Something i honestly shouldnt do but i do because when my "friends" need me or rely on me i like to be there eventhough i know most wont be there for me

Im not a charity so if i have parts fs is because i no longer need em but it doesnt mean im going to give them away. +1 on that. i gave dan all of my stg 3 turbo/mani to get taken care of. he handled shipping the mani/housing to get ported and also driving out to winterhaven to drop off my turbo for the big wheel. once everything is buttoned up, if i get invited to a mofo night, dan will be driving my car. least i could do for someone thats putting in a ridiculous amount of leg work for my car.
i wont comment on that day with brians car as i didnt know either of you then and can only go by what i have heard. usually something different depending on who you here it from. however, i am sure bryan did mean that as a jest, but i can see your side too dan.

nah man just the usual for me.....was in lithia thursday late then went home then drove to siesta key back to lithia then to brandon then home and that was in my car. At 6am today drove the silver car to tampa after it was delivered to me then home then to LandoLakes then out to the meet then HaINES cITY, bacvk to the hooters at i4/us98 AND AM NOW IN BRANDON bout to head to CLW. Making sure this trans is a ok before i deliver the car back tomorrow
