they are right in that nitrous spray bar is basically an un-regulated dry shot but if you have a short ram intake you wont suck up that much nitrous.... and also for every 3 ft. the nitrous has to travel after being atomized the less effect it has and will end up just cooling things down which is what its meant for
but with the amount of psi that is coming out, and once it reaches the engine, it will be pushed to the sides, top and bottom. yes, less will be in the direct intake tract, but some will be ingested.
tim, i was thinking of somthing(modified) when i saw theat picture...

One of the cleanest srt-4 in Tampa Bay!!124945+ boost leaks and counting!
dunno how long you guys been around but for a while there was an OB srt4 from Wimauma that was fukin insane on the spray.....would walk 600cc bikes like a Viper walks a school bus. Anyhow mods were simple: open dp, map clamp, intake, t stat, front mount, DRs, gutted and 150 shot (wet with fuel pill being a lil larger to ensure it wouldnt blow up)
needless to say i drove this thing off the spray and was decently impressed, if i recall off the bottle it made 270-280whp/310-330wt but with the bottle it laid down 390-405whp/470-490wt....i cant give exact numbers cause they varied depending on dyno. It ran like a champ but he did kill a couple of oe clutches and a trans. I remember i was tipping in slowly and the owner tells me as hes grabbing the oh shit handle and bracing himself in the seat that the system wouldnt activate till i went past 3/4 throttle. Even with DRs the LSD couldnt handle the prodigious amount of torque so even going straight the car was torque steering so bad that i looked like a truck driver trying to keep the rig in its lane. It was intense i must admit but doesnt quite do it for me like big boost on a big turbo with no spray. Mind you guys i will add the stock turbo works magic when sprayed upon even with a 75shot
hmmm *petting blue bottle while looking at a lil zip bag full of nitrous pills*

i'm not doubting that some nitrous will be sucked in... what i'm saying is that the nitrous that get pulled in the intake track won't have a combustion effect we have tried this at my uncle's speed shop with a couple kids who thought they would get like 100HP from activating their spray bar for extended amounts of time and all it really does is take away some of the added heat from the turbo
