What the block can hold and for how long it can hold it, are two different questions. Rj-low had 500hp on a stock block for awhile i think. There was one person that hit the upper 500's but after the 400 mark, you have to start being weary. With more power, comes more problems. Unless you spend the money to prevent the problems.

Yea i think thats a great plan. The 14's are a really good cam to help you spool up your big turbo. You may even wanna go lower on the compression ratio of those pistons. I dont know how the 60-1 reacts, i havent really seen many charts, but if it is like the gt series turbos that shine up at higher boost, a lower compression ratio will be safer on your motor. The DCR 5-layer headgasket will lower your compression a little. Also, if it likes to pull past the redline, look at getting a standalone or a pcm reflash to raise the redline and let the turbo roar. I haz plans for my car

More airflow, which in turn (usually) will equate more power. Same thing with ported throttle bodies, intake manifolds, heads, and exhaust manifolds.

the only major porting is the inlet and outlet. its as thin as a razor blade, but the compressor housing is just smoothed out i believe for more air flow its not ported out all the way. porting is much cheaper than a big wheel. with the big wheel your reliability goes out the door
