got an interesting question for you guys, looking for some opinions. Anyway I put some 04 sti wheels on my car a while back because I was bored at a friends shop just to see what they looked like because 04's had 5x100 bolt patterns where as 05's and later didn't I think it looks decent, but I figure BBS is great quality, 17s and forged wheels for cheaper than most. Speculation on iwsti says they weigh anywhere from 17-19 lbs which is good game for me (I'm thinking it's more like 19 though) Anyone who knows me knows I love to be different thats why I purposely break my car at the track all the time But I also think they look okay. How does everyone feel about this alternative? I was set on wedssport sa-90's but these popped back into my head.
Here are a few pics. I wonder how they'd look in gold This is a prime example of why everyone needs to lower their cars too, that wheel gap is ugly and makes the wheels look like 15s lol so pretend my car was lowered.
wow they actually look pretty good............now i'm gettin ideas......LOL!
i always see this red SRT at the Jerry Ulm Dodge Collision center, anybody here?
also a blue one with the commemorative edition stripes at this ORB place about a block away from the collision center on hillsborough, any takers?
beuler?...........beuler?...............beuler?
i believe the one at the collision center belongs to the mgr. it came in wrecked and the person couldn't pay for the car and damages so he did neither. so he fixed the car and got it w/ approx. 3000 miles and did the body work there. i think he paid around 10k for it

Ok guys, I'm not havin any luck finding a cold side pipe, the one guy I was going to buy it from kinda just left me hangin. So if anyone knows anyone that is sellin one or where I can get one cheap. I don't want to do just the lil' mid pipe thing, I would like to replace the whole thing. I have a type-s...thanks
In my opinion, for SRT-4s I like silver or black rims. Gold looks decent on STIs, just not on our cars.
I agree, but I think some gold wheels are better then others. Both because of the way they compliment the car or because of the finish. Black IMO looks terrible unless its got some sort of lip or a nice shine finish that doesnt make it look like a shit load of brake dust on your wheels. Ive seen some dull gold wheels, ive seen some gold wheels which are more like yellow. I guess you gotta find that happy medium. But these wheels might not look good in gold on our cars where say the advan rgII i think would look hot in gold on this car

I'd like them in gold
lol thanks guys. I saw these wheels in a pic on an evo9 at englishtown this year and they looked pretty good and I remembered I had these pics. Lighter than stock, forged wheels, BBS, and cheap/easy to find. By the way no one steal my idea

Hmmmm...I had a buddy of mine offer me his gold sti rims. You said they'll fit an 04?
other way around. If it's an 04 sti and 04 only, then they will fit our cars. 05 sti's and later switched to 5x114.3, but thats ok 04 sti wheels are a a bit lighter b/c they're 7.5 wide where as the 05+ are 8.0 (I beleive) I didn't ride around with these it was just a test fit so Idk if you need anything else, i'll let you know later today if you do.
