Yeah I hear you. At the rate things are going, by the time 2009 comes around I might be one of the few stock turbos left in this area. Peer pressure what can I say?
I'll be there with you. I won't upgrade my stock turbo, I'm probably going to port it and let it be. The luck I get with this car sucks, the last thing I need is to potentially dig myself deeper amongst other reasons. I'll probably upgrade my car before I upgrade my turbo. Unless I hit lotto, but i won't hold my breath on that one.
Tim what is your new avi of? I have a guess but well ya
when im done with my undergrad im going stage 3 big wheel upgrade then putting my car in the garage again for all of law school. i havent seen of driven my car in 2 weeks its starting to hurt

funny thing is, they are doing exactly what the z's and evo's and the new gt500 did when they first came out. markup from msrp then when there are no other buyers, then they will sell for less than sticker price. the $30k markup is to ensure you get one.
i also saw the 350z s tune at a nissan dealership the other day, REAL NICE but once again i cant justify spending another $15k OVER sticker price for an intake, bodykit and stickers...
the avitar is a pic of the coral reef at the florida aquarium. went there on monday
how was it?
i've been to the miami seaquarium and havent been to anything up here besides busch and adventure island. i need to take the young'n to there or something like that.
i went to cocoa beach on thanksgiving to spend time with family and he went ballistic over the shark tank at the original ronjon surf shop. i can only imagine how he will react over at the seaquarium.
I think even if I had the money I wouldn't buy one. Id rather spend like 30k on a car and then another 30k on like a daily. Anyone agree?
30k+30k = 60k
if you had the money for the car means 100k where's the other 40k in your equation
and no, IMO if I had 100k to dish out on a car I would buy a daily (assuming I didn't already have one) but not a 30k daily maybe 20k, something better on gas, reliable and cheaper. I don't need a daily that has a bmw badge on it or says sti or evolution or anything especially if I have that extra 80k left over that i spent on another car in my garage
obviously if I had 100k to spend on anything, it wouldn't be a car(s), but I'm asking about 100k on a car aka the GTR or alternate options

I didn't know they were that much.
If you had 100k or 60k to spend on a car or cars, gas shouldn't be a concern. I personally would buy a bmw or somekind of luxury car as a daily and another car to keep for the weekend. Maybe a third or fourth car.

Well I've seen people value their cars more than anything else, so they live in like a 500 sq ft house and have a ferrari in the garage. Just because I saved or was given 100k for a car doesn't mean I make 100k a year though. gas might not be a concern unless you buy an SUV, but reliability probably, maintenance definitely, insurance, etc etc. but If I made 100k or more a year well than yeah things would be a lot different lol
In fact Tim, didn't you tell me about some guy near you who shows off his exotics every 4th and doesn't live in a house that's really anything big but has like a 6 car garage or something?
