i'll get faster times and more reliable power with the route i'm going. I may spray later down the road, but not anytime soon. lmk how that turns out for you though, kevin.
never said i was going to spray i just stated that quixsilver achieved mid 12's in the qt mile without spray or ported parts. on the spray he was in the low 12's

Stock turbo is ok for now. If I had some extra money I would think about an upgrade. My car has come a long way from when I first bought it in Jan 2007.
We'll see what's in store for 2009. You never know.
Yeah I hear you. At the rate things are going, by the time 2009 comes around I might be one of the few stock turbos left in this area. Peer pressure what can I say?
All I know is for you bigger turbo guys, hope you take advantage and go to the track more often; otherwise not sure what the point is. Guess it just depends on what your goals are Our cars with stock turbos + bolt ons are already pretty quick, but the need for speed bug can be very attractive.
On another note, and I know I've said it before, hope there's an auto cross event that we can watch or participate in very soon. Would be a good change of pace.
Tim, I never see you on AIM anymore. You got tired of it?
I was there last night.
once my turbo kit goes in, i'm gonna be done with the car for a while. that's a pretty big purchase and have already put more money into the car than I thought I would when I bought it. I know the car won't be complete, but i'll be satisfied with it for a while. unless its little items here and there, I won't buy anything major for the car untill 2009 after the stg 3
stock turbo's aren't that bad. Yes, big turbo or stage 3 is a lot better. I've seen them move...looks fun, just waitin for a ride in one now. There's a stock turbo up here with all bolt-ons, cams, SCT tune, making about 375hp & close to that number on torque...I was told they plan on going with porting...
375? Is that at the wheels? because that seems really high. big wheel and spray or big wheel and race gas with a hell of a tune i can see it otherwise that might be one dyno I want to go to myself
