sportlines FTL...

dont take offense as i think the car looks damn good but give it time the struts will let you know when they have had enough. BTW notice how bouncy the rear is yet?

Looks like Ozzy has been running fine with his
He has about 20k-30k on his on stock struts... and compared lastnight both cars are at the same height. If I recall he was daily driving his from his house on Hillsborough all the way to New Tampa. Not to mention the countless meets he's been to and the many times he's been to my house.

To your surprised months back you didn't even know they came with bump stops for the front until Ozzy told you.

The rear was only bouncy on the Howard Franklin... this was driving from all the way in Winter Haven to St. Pete. The rest of the drive was great.

I'm used to it... this isn't the first car I've had that was lowered. The Eclipse is lowered and my old Eclipse was lowered on Sportlines.

you give your car different use than he does so in time you'll find out what i mean. Then again you do have more suspension that most on here who lower their cars. Not hating just reminding you that you and ozzy dont give ur cars the same type of use...ozzy usually travels alone and rarely carries heavy loads...in due time though

I only travel with Cheryl when we go to meets that's once a week. My job is two roads and I'm there in 10 minutes. Cheryl's job is about 15 minutes away and she takes the highway. Car sees less mileage then Ozzy's car. The car primarily sits at home during the weekend except for Saturday nights. It hasn't even been driven today. What do you mean we use the car differently then Ozzy? We only take it to work. We don't even take it with us when we go to stores nor grocery shopping because I don't trust people with the car parked somewhere public out of my sight for long periods of time.

Heavy loads? Ozzy's car sometimes you can't even sit in the back of it and he has a trunk full of stuff. The only thing I have in my trunk is the spare tire, foldable chairs (for meets), backpack of tools and zipties. My back seat stays clear.

Ozzy's car gets a lot more use then our's does. Remember I only go to (1) meet every week. Ozzy goes to about 3 or 4.

So an extra person in the car once a week will not hinder the drivability.

true but still doersnt change the fact the sportlines are made for Neons not srt4s....the neon strut perch sits 1 inch lower and when those springs are used on the srt4 thats an extra inch of travel the srt struts arent made to take plus the added weight. The heaviest neons made were the magnum RTs and even loaded they were less than 2750 while an srt4 starts at 2900 plus added weight of options. Not gonna sit here and argue/debate it....neon springs on srt4s will kill the struts much faster than they would in a neon. Not saying yours will blow tomorrow or the day after just making you aware that the ride quality will start to deteriorate and it will be attributed to the sportlines. Thats all

have to give you guys my xmas gift next time im down that way

I understand the struts will blow eventually, I know it will come sooner or later. I'll upgrade struts once the time comes. Can't wait for the rest of the suspension parts to come in, then I just need to save for the rest to finish off the car on the suspension end.

I read the "how to" thread for the bushings.
Looks like fun, lighting the vertical bushing on fire:
