Didn't know about it until Jesus and Ozzy told me later in the evening.
I wouldn't mind going one day if we get a little advance notice.
I hate inviting myself to places; let us know when the next time is and maybe a few more of us can come to hang out

the 70mm one? Idk much about boomba, but I wouldn't get an aftermarket tb unless you are totally ok with dealing with the leaks for that extra couple hp, otherwise I'd get a ported stocker. I learned that after I bought my kinetic 60mm

well man I can't help you with boomba specific. your best bet is searching. But being someone who has an aftermarket tb If I could do it over again I'd just get a DCR or FBM ported stocker and save the headaches. In fact I'm thinking of selling mine

No problem! It was cool, something different then the average Saturday night. That and I always heard about Lakeland just didn't know anyone that went there... now I do.

We'll do it again sometime. It was fun.

Brian I forgot where yours is leaking from... do you recall? Another friend of mine I think has your same TB and we figuered out his leak is coming from the TPS, the o-ring is not sealing or has just worn out. Were going to get another o-ring and see if it cures the problem. If so his TB will have zero leaks. I think its just tackling the minor things to help these TB's seal correctly. But then again I don't recall where your leak is coming from... I do know its leaking.

well, did some research, so far all i have read is that people have issues with it idling high, around 2000 rpms, after install. also most people that i have read about had to replace the tps.

however, all of the ones i found are on stock pcm. people did comment that if your on a stage 1,2,or 3, then you should be ok.

this is a 70 mm throttle body and have read alot more negatives than positives. is 70 mm overkill anyway?

I learned something about the TPS and idling high about a weekend ago with a customers car. At start up his idle shot to 5800-6000 and came down to 1500-2000. We overlooked everything that was done and we back to the TPS. This time reset the pcm, disconnect the tps, align it proper (no tension) on the TB, bolt it on, plug it in, start the car up and perfect idle.

So there's a few things that can cause your idle to go out of whack. With the TPS its TPS harness damaged or TPS not properly aligned. In which I learned something new last weekend.

This may not be the problem those guys were experiencing but its sure seems like its within the same boat.

I think 70mm may be an overkill but that all depends on what ALL you have planned for the car...
