i got to spectate, lil change up since im usually in the midst of the racing but still had alot of fun last night. On the way home I ran into a new bmw 335i twin turbo he was extremely fast but even giving him a head start went blowin by his doors in 3rd hehe. Got to chat with him at the light and he was pretty cool. although he threw out the comment if i was stock he would have beat me. I think he was a lil sad that he lost with his girl in the car.

From 2nd to 3rd I shifted at 5500 rpms (Thinking I would stay in my powerband). From 3rd to 4th I said screw it and took it till redline. I started off about a half of fender behind and a little late. Next time I'll shift at redline through the gears and actually start off right. I pulled up next to them as they were already lining up.
Talking with Saul made me realize I need to get an EBC. He's spiking the same as me but he's holding more. I have no boost leaks either.
if price is an issue, would you consider an mbc? If not grab a greddy profec b spec II or something off someone
I haven't researched much on using an mbc on this car. I have had experiences with them though since I ran them on the DSM's I used to have. If it works pretty much the same I wouldn't mine using an mbc, what worries me is the failure of them. I've had some fail in the past.

MBC's even when set have nasty spikes and can cause some serious damage. I've been that route before lol.
There's a guy who has a Greddy Profec B II for $180 obo here in town. Wish I had the money I would jump on it.
just make me a fair offer. think i'm just going to get an autometer 30/30 gauge. not sold just yet on what route i'm going to go, but might involve pcm controlled boost
