The registration form has a place to list your modifications, so I don't think it will be a problem. They probably would frown upon something like nitrous, though. I'll try to give them a call in a week or two for more info.
god damn sign me up, I can't wait. Btw you have finals mad late. I hope it's not when I'm visiting CT that this event is going on. Whats the fee to participate? And I would assume we have to bring our own gear (there goes more money) I wanna get in so bad, I need to make some $$, school better lighten up so I can grab a job

13 month membership = $50
Registration fee for track event per day = $200-$350
Instructor fee for entry level/novice driver = $75
We just want to drive up there in December to watch to see if we like it. If we like it, we can save our money and try to join in Jan or Feb 2008. We can drive home the same day or get cheap hotel rooms near the racetrack. To save money, probably better to just drive home.
Sebring Int'l Raceway is about 125 miles from my apartment, 2 hr 30 min drive (for slow drivers)
cut off an hour for me. 250-350 everytime you get on the track is expensive, plus you guys will want an instructor if you're new, and wear and tear on the car which will cost ya. and other odds and ends things. It Totals up, that's why I haven't joined one yet, even with a job I'd be scraping the bottom of my bank account if I joined. I want to join but the reality is Idk If I can afford that. I might hit up some auto-x events soon though

Yeah, it is pricey. Well, even if we don't join, I still think it would be cool if we hung out there and watched for 4-5 hours. I've never been to Sebring before and it would be cool to check it out.
^^oh i'll def be there for that. that's what I miss about the mountains. No one lived there so we could run it all day long and it didn't cost us anything but gas. Too bad there's no street alternative down here
