Whenever I can figure out why im still leaking oil and why it feels like it falls on its face around 5k.

i know im kinda late but just moved up here to jacksonville(yulee) from melbourne so posting

...pretty much me getting smoked![]() ^^ What he said, congrats man thanks bruthas. so i didnt get to race my dad's challenger. even tho i already know how it woulda turned out. it rained all weekend. we had the wedding indoors, but it cleared up for a bit so we could take pics on the beach. other than that, it went smoothly. gettin my windows tinted this weekend FINALLY. also gotta replace my driver-side wheel bearing and hub now that i did my pass side w-bearing + hub. ugh, i love general maintenance. im prolly gonna install this wideband soon too. does anyone have a twin or triple gauge pod pillar lying around and wants to get rid of. im also buying some kind of go-fast part, i just dont know what yet. |

Are there any meets coming up that you guys will be at?

Whenever I can figure out why im still leaking oil and why it feels like it falls on its face around 5k.
Does the car backfire at 5k and just completely like die? I had the samething happen to me but I worked it out a little bit, but the problem still persists around 6500 rpm. If you figure it out and run smooth all the way through please let me know, thats really the only thing holding me back from my tune. I originally thought it was a fuel issue but myself plus other people have gone over the system numerous times and nothing seems to be wrong with it.

No backfiring just it keeps boost just dont go anywhere.

that sounds like timing issue to me are you getting any knock do you know what your timing curve is doing around the time it does it
I just checked my dtec and I am getting aroun 3 kr at idle. I dont think the dtec has timing on it? I will let you know how much kr I am getting once I get home from work.

I just checked my dtec and I am getting aroun 3 kr at idle. I dont think the dtec has timing on it? I will let you know how much kr I am getting once I get home from work.
thats alot at idle you should be at 0 and not see more then 8 or 9 im running 7.5 at wot after about 8 or 9 my computer started retardeding the timing and the car got slower. i think i know your prob. how long has the car been siting if more then 3 monthes or so you have bad gas if you have less then half a tank go fill it up and put a bottle of octane booster in . |
