Overall it was a good time. Hot as hell, but I didn't mind it much. Lots of riced out cars at the car show section. There was even a fake turboed car (I forgot what it was, think it was an is300). There was also the super amazing Yellow riced out SRT4 (it had a fake roof scoop, and looked like it came straight out of Need for Speed Underground). There were 3 skylines there, one r34 skyline gt-r, one r33, and one japan spec skyline 350gt (infinity g35 here).
Couple nice srt4's showed up. A white acr, a clean looking orange 05, and another yellow one that was claiming 400hp and put down 260 on the dyno.
Overall it was a good time, the cars racing were fast hell ( pro stock winner pulled a 7.5 at 200mph). Oh yeah, and like usual a bunch of Rotary cars were running, and a bunch of them broke at the line and one caught on fire.
yeah i was there. I had a good time. all in all there were nice cars there. and the beautiful nopi chicks were nice to look at to. and congrats to cano (jamie) in the silver srt in coming in 3rd place in the dial in runs. see ya next year or at another event.
I was there Saturday... unfortunately had to go home early thanks to my tranny taking a crap..
Yeah Pablo, you are going to have to do something about that. Patrick won Power Street over the JapEx Evo 8.
And I sucked........more practise and power needed.

Thanks meng
Someone noticed. I actually had my best time on Saturday
13.287 @ 100.03mph with at 1.992 60'.
I had a blast running with all those fast cars and beating them or sucking them into breaking out
I don't like to make excuses but my stock clutch had it. On my last run it was slipping bad. Time for a new one.
what exactly did that Celica have in it? Was it an all-trac?
the thing was demented.
If your're talking about the black one that ran against me and broke out woth a 13.3, it's a 1.5 junkyard motor with 100 shot. The guy is from Naples and I talked to him for a while. Fast sucker.

Yes it is an All-Trac. My brother did all the work and he thinks that he can get more out of it as the wastegate he found out later in the day was leaking and the turbo may be a tad too small. BTW, Nemo did the tuning.
Cano, my brother ran only Power Street so I think that was different Celica. BTW, great job man and if it was not for the clutch I think you had a good chance of taking it all.

the nicest car there by far was that Celica...i was impressed with the subtle yet nice touches (loved the glovebox gauge setup)
I should've known he was your brother sporting those gunmetal Superleggeras.
Nice specimen, tell him he has a buyer should he ever think about selling.
I have dibs on the OZs. Just can't wait for my car to be done.
