Default Miami SRT-4 Techs and Mechanics

Anyone got any recommendations for a good SRT-4 mechanic or technician in the Miami area? I live around Kendall and Pinecrest. Need a new mechanic.

Thanks. I think I will go to you guys when I do major work because I don't trust a lot of the rinky dinky shops down in Miami.

I am taking it to a Chrysler dealership Friday because my sponsor knows the General Manager of Repairs there.

Otherwise, I want to take it to you guys so you can look at it, tell me what's wrong (if there is anything wrong) and steer me in a direction.

What do you guys charge for general inspection? i.e., shaft-play inspection, boost levels, and making sure the car doesn't go kaboom.

It appears to be a stock turbo, it has a AGP wastegate and AEM Tru Boost, the only two items that I KNOW of that can change anything on the car.

I really need to tech this car out. Need someone experienced with to take it to.

$90. We give the car a complete inspection. Adjust boost if needed. Check every in's and out's off the car from the turbo to the oil in the car and everything in between. We could even throw it on the dyno to make sure everything is running as it should, at idle, at part throttle, and even at full throttle while monitoring the A/F.

That sounds good to me. Do I need to make an appointment or do you do walk-ins? Who should I ask for so you know it's me. I'm going to be calling. My name is Peter with a black SRT-4.

its best to call and schedule an appointment. Right now we have a few empty spots. Call and ask for Nemo.

Hey i live in the same area! Infact, i think i talked to you on US-1 once. I have a blue SRT. Does yours have black LED taillights?

If you want a contact in miami for work, there's a guy named Pablo that does great tuning, and Lujan Motorsports is a respectable shop. I have used both at one point or another for my SRT, and i still use pablo for tuning.

No, I just got my car. Doubt I spoke with anyone. I heard about Lujan and think that is where I will go since it is closer.

Oh ok. Yeah Lujans does good work. Willie is the guy to ask for at lujans. Pablo is elsewhere now but still does tuning for our cars.

Hope to see you at the upcoming meets. Post up in the miami section if you haven't already.

I dropped by this morning and met Willie. Busy guy, pretty cool. He took a quick glance and explained a few things about my car that made me feel better. I'm going back either Friday or Monday.

There's a Miami section!?
