Default Laying in bed... Alarm goes off.. DAMNIT

So I'm spending the night at Cathi's house tonight, I'm already asleep and she is reading, she hears faint car door slam and then my alarm goes off, she wakes me up we run out side and shut it off, we went back into the house to go back to bed when I started thinking "wait, it would not just GO OFF" so I went back out and grabbed my trusty flash light from the car and sure enough the door lock on the driver side was all fucked up, along with some of the plastic around it where they tried to use a flat head screw driver to break in (this is very common on Dodge cars) so we did a search of the area, drove around looking for the ASS HOLES that did it but found nothing. Then called State Farm and filed a claim and called the police just to be safe, but they said since they didn't get inside to call back during business hours for a report. I'm so PISSED it’s not funny!!!! So now the car is parked in the driveway with a car blocking it in and a few relays have been removed to make the car inop for any one wanting to take it. This is a warning to all of you, make sure your alarm systems are armed, many SRT-4's were sold from dodge with out them being turned on, lock your doors and check that there’s a flashing red light in the gauge cluster, if you don't see it go get it turned on by your local dealer, or get online I'm sure someone has it written down how to do it.

I would invest in an aftermarket alarm. But I am glad no more damage was done to it. Dont worry, it will be fixed in no time!

Damn dude, that sucks! I know the feeling! I had my $1500 stereo stolen out of one of my old cars, right infront of my apartment! I was just taking it down to get an alarm put on it that week.

If someone fucked with my car, I would KILL them.

So I'm not the only one who is more attached to this car than any prior?

Good luck with your car man.
