Jax SRTs -Mopar meet!

Hey all the Jax area SRTs -


This weekend, February 22, the Jax Mopar Club will hold its annual gathering at the Sandcastle Plaza in Jax Beach. They congregate outside the Hooter's (a good place to meet).

I think all us SRTs should meet together. We're the new musclecars of Mopar, and we need to be represented! I'll be there for sure. I believe the meet starts in the morning and lasts most of the day.

We need to mingle with all the classic Hemis and 440 Wedges and what-not.

It is Sunday. All Mopars are invited to cruise in. I just thought, you know...being the SRT-4s are so fast and powerful...
I thought it'd look cool to have several SRTs in all the colors lined up alongside the old Chargers, Challengers and Road Runners.

There are also fast,powerful and sharp looking 1st gens and 2nd gens around town. All "Neons" need to represent.. Thats my opinion. Much love for the 1st and 2nd gens. Don't bring your car just because its the newest on the block bring it because its Mopar.

Uhh Huh, theres also a blue n/a that can give you a run for your money as well. Do not underestimate.

i wish my car was finished. I would make the 3 hour drive but oh well i guess i go next time. Have fun guys!!!

All right, all right. I did get a few flames!
I guess Neons do show up, but I went last year and I don't remember seeing too many. A few PT Cruisers, but mostly old iron.
This isn't a gathering of "The Fast & The Furious" crowd. It's mostly people who collect old Mopars - you know, old bastards my age.
Still, I think it'd be cool to have a line of SRTs on display. I believe our cars are getting a cult following. For many people, this might be their first close up look at an SRT-4.
Anyone going to make it?

OK, I have info on the meet. ALL Mopars are invited -Neons included. Sorry If I excluded you guys. Even Mercedes cars are invited, due to the corporate merger love-fest.
It starts around noon Sunday Feb. 22 and lasts til about 4. It's a free event, but donations are accepted to pay the DJ. Eat at Hooters, which is the central gathering place. Lots of cool old Mopar iron will be there. Let's make sure the SRT/Neon groups make their presence known!

How about everyone interested in going, meet up at 11:30 at the Winn Dixie shopping plaza at the corner of Beach Blvd and ST.johns bluff road. We can meet there at 11:30 and head out about 11:45 and have a nice drive down JTB to the hooters plaza. Sound good to anyone?
