i just got into tampa/clearwater area and found race related. i need someone to do a complete turbo/fuel kit install and tune. anyone have good experience with them? bad experience? know if they are good at what they do? i was quoted $1300 for installing everything.
They're a good shop, and James (owner) is a good guy.

save your self the trouble, drive 30 min over to frank @xtremeboost in orlando, tell him i(nick) told you to see him, he will take care of you, and do a much better job than race related could ever do......im sure plenty of people on here can vouch for frank.

james doers good work and he stands behind it. See i know you are local to me cause im in the St. Pete/CLW area myself. Ive solicited Frank's help and hes always taken really good care of me, if you dont mind the drive take it to him (1.5hrs from my house) but if you wish to stay local then Race Related is your ticket.
Considering a dealership will charge you 5-700 to install a clutch i dont see why people are bitching about price of installing the complet trubo kit, rail, injectors, return line, pump, dtec boost controller and clutch of $1300. Dont talk trash unless youve had experiences with both shops...Race Related and Xtremeboost...theyt are both competent and trustworthy aswell as resonably priced.
Ive known james personally for years and frank has never let me down...hell hes gone well above an beyond for me at time like james and i really appreciate that from both of them. Thats why i have no problems recommending either.

yea....i donno maybe that is a good price, i just know frank tends to do more than just install things, like polishing your motor mount brackets and valve cover ect....lol race related did make me a ghetto fab intake when my stocker broke way back at the last statewide meet....so either way....i would definately talk to frank though.
Both shops are great ive had great experiences with them both....when youve spent time/money at both places like i have you'd understand. And yes ive spent money with both of them out of my own pocket even if i was later paid back...i still did the transactions aswell as drove the vehicle(s) there.
race related/james is a great shop. tom does great work there and james does excellent work. they have never let me down for anything from lettin dan and i use their dyno for a while to my oil pan to my dyno of the turbo install. great guys and will not let you down
I've only heard nothing but good things about RaceRelated and XtremeBoost, it's basically whoever gives you the better deal on the install, and what you're willing to drive to get it done.
bro everyone has told me go to xtremeboost they are better, but man its been about week and a half sicne i sent this guy a list of mods for a price quote and have gotten nothing back, sent email and pms! i think im just gna go down to pabl down at lujan. cause im not gna be on someones tail when im the one paying them.
