Ok guys & girls. Here is the hotel info for our upcoming meet. We want everyone to try and stay at the same hotels. It makes it easier for us to hang out and go party.
Friday night hotel info for the dyno:
SUPER 8 HOTEL
13260 34 STREET NORTH
ST.PETERSBURG, FL
727-572-8881
$49.99 PER NIGHT (Must mention Florida Neon meet)
Saturday night hotel info for the track:
HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS
SR 64 & I-75
BRADENTON, FL
941-748-6610
$81 PER NIGHT (must mention AAA rate, per Jay)
additional hotels for saturday night if needed:
COMFORT INN 941-747-7500
DAYS INN 941-746-2505
ECONO LODGE 941-745-1988
We don't have any blocks reserved. So I would start making reservations soon. Both hotels currently have about 40 rooms each for those nights. I checked 4/5/04 at about 2pm, right before I posted all the info. Sharing rooms will definatly make it cheaper.
The hotel for friday night is the one for those going to the dyno. Any of the hotels for saturday night are the same distance to the track. They are all within about a block of each other.
I just made my reservation at the Econo Lodge. $45 per night for 3 adults. I noticed that your group rate is $89 for the holiday inn express. They're not giving you any deal, through expedia.com you get get a room there for $80/night. The econo lodge is right on 67th street, or SR 67, whatever its called, right near the track, and all the other hotels too.
Trust me though. The holiday inn is ALOT nicer. There are alot of hotels around that area and the holiday inn is the nicest by far. I think the Econo lodge is where we saw the bums get in a fight and stab one another last time. There was a whole big deal that happened with the police, paramedics, ect. There are some hotels in that area you want to stay away from LOL.
Lol. I thought that was the motel 6 where the guy was stabbed? Anyways, I made reservations for the Holiday in on Sat. night. Thats where the party's gonna be (Spoo's room), so I figure I want to be as close to the action as possible.
