no perks, just a fun way to show off your car for a night. It's actually good anyways because it gives you a reason to do insane detail to your car. keeps it fresh. I imagine it would be more fun to go with a group of cars like with a shop or something.. by yourself might get boring.
Me and a couple srt4s will be going again. I want to enter my car....how much is it and are there any little things i should know about?
go to HIN main webpage for prices. some of the stipulations are that you must have less than 1/8 fuel in tank, must have battery disconnected... oh and bring some tools so you can disconnect the battery and remove your license plate and bring something to cover VIN # too.
Yeah, I read what they would tell me. Thats why i asked if there where some other things... Since they say that the packet they send u has all the info in it. Now let me ask you this. If you sign up to register your car (55.00$), what if you are not accepted? Do they give you your money back or what? I know in HIN last year in Miami was a blast, compared to Orlando (350z's EVERYWHERE) and one srt4. And i know I want to enter this year in mia since last year there where about 5 srt4's, but none of them that i remember had alot done. I remember one just had a returnline, and thats it.
My paint isn't perfect. It's gotten a little beat up highway driving. I'd be willing to join up with anyone that is entering. Really I don't wan't to even bring my car there, so some random jerk seeing it can break into it while I'm enjoying myself.
If we can group up before hand, all of us supporting SRTforums. Can they really turn all of us away if we enter? It would technically be a SRT car club.
I'm going to work on getting my exterior cleaned up a little, maybe take it to a body shop. I've got on tiny ding on my hood from a dump truck, and way to many tiny chips to count on the front... Nothing a little expertise couldn't fix fairly quick. I think a good wet sand, touch-up and clear coat would look great.
Hey rob how's the vinyl holding up? I've got these little specks, almost like mold or stains. Any idea how to get this off? I'm going to have to remove mine it's getting nasty...

Are you talking about the cars that were in the show? Because mine was in it with 4 other SRT's and a white boosted TC... and i dont think a single car was stock. Infact I was one of 2 on stock turbo's still and the other stock turbo had NO2 that pushed him over 400whp. Infact Pablo's old black SRT was in it that had the 503whp.
But if i get in it this year i'll be bringing something new to the table.
oh, and why would they turn you away? if you pay in time then you are in. never saw people not get accepted.
Oh ok, i just thought that it would be a little stupid if they dont have standards... I mean then 100 civics with fart cans would be there. Well the srts that i saw all looked good. But i suppose I was ecspecting more. The only ones i saw was the grip tuning srt, and then there where about 4 of them together..blue with blue wheels, red with a lip, ect....Those are the ones I saw. Im not saying that they were stock, but I thought that they were going to be the most badass srt4's around if they were in HIN...ya know?
ACRin954...I have a cc that will probably have a couple members entering. But, if they dont end up entering then i will enter next to you. Oh, and my stripes are painted on. And since the guy painted them over the clear, now i have alot of chips on them. And ive been taped twice in the back bumper, so i now have two cracks on them in the back. Im going to try to get that all fixed b4 the show. And if you want to ride down there with us, then we could meet u somewhere down south, since i live in stuart, and all my friends live in west palm.
