help convence my wife - SRT Forums

i need some good ideas to convence my wife to get me a 06 GSX-R 750 for Christmas. i started off by sayin "i wont ask for more parts for my car."

and " it will only be a weekend driver" anything else i could or should throw in there?

Better Gas mileage.

Also remember, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

So just show up with it and she'll only be mad for a week

well she's got a little bit better credit so the payment will be lower. she was thinking about doing it for a gift but word got out and someone told me.

plus inlaws are going to take out life insurance on me after i get the bike.

i dont see why they would want to do that.

actually her mom said something about gas being better on the bike, which suprised the hell out of me.

ooh ooh i know what to say!

"now i can go in between cars at stop lights so i can get to the front!"

"It weaves through traffic so much better"

"but now i can get to 180mph without having to mod"

"wheelies are so much cooler than burnouts, and now i can do both!"

"running from the cops would be so much easier with this bike"

"look at it this way, if i get into an accident you wont have to worry about those expensive hospital bills..."

i'll try and think of some others later... ran out of ideas. Oh and i hate bike riders, so please dont become the stereotype when/if you do get it.

i had one before . i'm not that type of rider. i just love to cruise. no stunts no wheelies no bull shit. i mean yes every now and then when no ones around you get a little tempted to gun it. but that about it.

so you dont have to worry about no one passing you on the street. lol

thats cool. i always want to give a big thumbs up to the crotch-rocket-rider that doesn't weave, blast through heavy traffic going 105mph and doesn't ride up the middle of 2 lanes.

i always find that whenever a bike is coming up between me and another car i find i need to open my door to pour out whatever cup i have.

always makes for a funny time... and if they say something to me thats when i push my big red button of decibels.

maybe i'm just an ass

you know i thought about doing the same thing. it's the stereotype that some give a bad name just like for the srt4's. you've got that few that makes all of us look bad.
