Tell me about it, I work 55 hrs a week and now have to take some time off to fight a bs ticket.
If I was speeding and he assured himself I was speeding he could of just wrote a number in there and gave me a ticket for speeding. Since he assumed I was speeding, he gave me some sort of bs ticket trying to state that without proof of speed. Which by the way when he pulled me over I was already sitting at a red light for a good minute. Shortly after around 30 sec later a truck pulled up behind me and that later the cop came. So within a two minute window, the cop saw a red blur go by him... saw me at a traffic light assumed it was my car. He didn't state it was my car, he said he saw a red blur. So he assumed it was my car. He pretty much profiled. Because he asked for my DL and registration, went to his car and came back and asked me if I was street racing. If he shows up in court I have a very assuring feeling he will lose.
Just remember, it's not feelings but facts that stand up in court. Doesn't sound like he has any facts. Sounds like he is trying to scare you. Do your research on the internet and be prepared. There are plenty of web sites dedicated to giving you the correct language to use to get out of a ticket. You can even print out the pages and read them in court. If ever there was a ticket worth fighting and winning (it is irrelevant how fast you were going) this is it. Good luck.

when he asked if you had any questions why did you say no? if you were in fact not guilty, you should have said something. take it to court and make him prove it, the judge is not gonna take "i saw a red blur" as a cause to right a speeding ticket without proof such as radar or laser. more than likely you can get it thrown out...or any good traffic lawyer will get you out of it..but why pay for something when you don't have to, this is just my opinion....good luck.......but if you are guilty "pay it"....................

I said "No sir", to not getting an argument or confrontation with him. He was being a bit smart with me since he pulled me over. If I sat there and asked him questions such as, "how do you know it was me"... "did you actually see my car"... "did you actually see me driving the car you supposely seen". Its more of me questioning the officer as to what he assumed and I didn't feel I needed to step on his shoes in anyway. If I was guilty I would just pay the ticket and take the course to remove the points. In which this case I'm not guilty. I've gotten speeding tickets in the past (6 yrs ago) and those I paid and didn't fight because I was in the wrong. I'm definately not in the wrong with this one.

2 paid fine and nothing on my record
1 lowered fine nothing on my record
1 paid full fine and went on my record (got an asshole judge)
1 wreckless (140 in a 60 weaving lanes of traffic)
100 dollar fine
8 hour driving course
1 neg driving second degree (merged to highway at 110mph and changed over 4 lanes in one motion)
dropped completely on first court appearance
The cop doesnt have his shit together
Just go in and act all innocent and explain your side and it will be dropped i promise

I scheduled a court date. Didn't use a lawyer nor felt the need to have one.
My wife went with me as a witness and the Officer did show up!
I gave a "turn of events" as far as what all took place minutes from getting pulled over to the time of being pulled over. I then also gave "my statement". Judge asked me a couple/few questions then asked my wife a couple questions.
in my case had 2 state troopers a while back that decided they wanted to make sure stuff stuck, i happily signed the tickets, drove to my lawyer the next day, paid him what he asked and just a few days ago got a notice that 3 were dismissed and the 4th was withheld with a small court cost. Im very thankfull for his services and will recommend him to anyone who gets a ticket in hillsborough county:claP:
