Im staying in a hotel near the Ft. Lauderdale Airport this weekend for the Autism Conference there.
Just wanted to see if u guys had any Friday Night or Saturday Nights Meets.
Or if u anyone wants to get lunch saturday or dinner Friday /Saturday night. Lemme me know
A few of us meet up Friday nights starting at 7 till the cops kick us out at 10pm. it's not just SRT's they are usually about 500 different kinds. TT lambo murcielago is my current fav. it gives ya the chills.
It is on University Drive and I-595. on the south east side in the home depot plaza called tower shoppes. it's about 10-15 minute ride from the airport.

Towers is gonna be your best bet for a reliable show that happens every Friday (as long as it's not raining)
From the airport or surrounding areas you'll take I-595 West to university drive. You will go South on University drive and turn in to tower shopps on your left. It is right on the SE corner of I-595/SR84 and University drive.
Any time after 6 and you won't be able to miss it. Hot rods, musscle cars, barely legal drag cars, exotics, hoopties with 1,000,000 watt systems, imports, bikes, old military vehicles, trucks, the list goes on. It is also in a plaza that has at least 10 places to eat, 5 of em are are actually good too! It's a good night with good people and has been established for well over 10 years. Hope to see you there!

Yea, not whole lot goes on Saturday nights. I've tried to stir something up, but it always seems to fall flat.
guess people just have other things to do on a Saturday night.
I had the idea of making a sticky for all the Floridy people to post up details of know meets so we would have a central place to look and see whats happening where and when on any given night. But no one has initited it. Guess i'll have to start the thread myself.
Sorry I missed you while you were in town, I'm always open to meeting new SRTFriends. Also, sorry I didn't warn you that the cops shoo everyone away from tower shopps at 10. Thats as late as Davie would issue the permit. Guess they'd rather have 100's of hotrods driving the streets at 10P every Friday night.
