Gainesville Dragway tonight - SRT Forums

anyone wanna meet up at about 5ish at BJs? I would bring my digital camera & camcorder & we could get some good footage. We could get some on the way to the dragway & then get some fun races down as well. I could edit the video & possibly upload it as early as tonight for all us to watch. It should be alot of fun & as far as I know it would be 1st time that Jax SRT-4 would be representing like that? Anyone interested?

We have had several Jax Neon/SRT groups go to Gainsville in the past. I think our biggest we had about 4 or 5 first gen's, 3 second gen's, and 3 or 4 SRT's.

The last time we went and got rained out we had a few first gen's, but about 5 SRT's.

Check out www.floridaneons.org when you get a chance. Usually most of the Jax guys will post up there when we are doing a Gainsville trip to race.

yeah, I went up. It was one of the most dissapointing drag runs that I've ever had. I could not pull a better than 2.4 60" for nothing. But, then everyone else was having hard time, too. I think that it is mostly because of my tires. I've upgraded to 18" wheels & some racing tires (not drag but soft racing tired).. & it was either mad wheelhopp or bogging out for me. So, best I could muster was a freaking 14.2 with 100mph trap. & that is waaaaayyy above what I should be doing with my mods. So, I'll be switching back to my stockers soon here (right after I instal my 50 trim) & putting in some solid engine mounts. So, if it was not for the 50 trim on the way with all the supporting mods I would be seriously bummed out. lol See you guys around (btw - I still whooped up on 3 different GTOs. One had a chip, intake & exhaust done, too & took me off the line - but I reeled him back in. I just gotta get my 60" much much much lower. lol)
