I just wanted to vent here for a second. Has anyone noticed how horrible the traffic around here is getting? I went out to run an errand at 10am, and it took me 30 minutes to get from downtown to Colonial on 41. Jesus Christ, it usually takes me 5-7 minutes tops. I've also noticed that close to no one uses their blinkers anymore. Not just for changing lanes or cutting you off, but if you jump into a turning lane, no one has their blinker on, except for maybe ONE car that's in the middle of the pack. What the hell is going on?

Oh yeah, I spotted Shawn on Corkscrew Monday evening. Car looked good!
Dayum, just got back from the beach and i am rather CRISP! lol. Oh so i pop my trunk this morning to get out my football and radio for the beach, and notice my rear bumper loook a bit differnt....
So you know that cover part that says GTO?
Well. It came off... its somewhere im not sure where but its not on the car. lol So im assuming, either it flew off while i was doing 140mph last night on the bridge, OR someone stole it lol. Anyways, dad gets parts at wholesale price so i already have a new on on thee way. Should be here tomorow or monday.
BTW, the goat suprises me, i didnt exactly know what i had until i got her opened up on the bridge, 140mph in 4th gear, its a 6 speed. lol. And it barks 3rd gear reaaaaal nice like lol.

(I really began to believe that dodge might have a miata competitor with its low cost two seat demos but then i had to shake my head in disbelief when i read that dodge will be making its "sports car" with a Chinese front wheel drive chassis. Heck, even fwd manufacturer Honda knew to make the S2000 rwd. This poor guy is doomed before it even hits the production. I wonder why chrysler is operationally bankrupt.)

Well Chrysler went operationally bankrupt because of its lil German friends that sucked the profit out of the company. When Lee Iacoca left it was the most profitable US car manufacture and you see what happend since.
Hopefully with the new owners it will be back to that one day. Unfortunatly for us car enthusits we are running into a tid bit of a gas problem and alot of them will do what they should have done about 4 years ago and start making more cars with WAY higher gas miliage then they currently do. The tech is there its a matter of them doing it.
Like i said the car hasent been even brought up since the showing of it. Thats not a good thing. If the insiders arent talking about it that usually means its leaning twards not being made.

Its South West Florida. The only place where they do major road construction during 5 o clock rush hour. We have a minimum speed limit on I75 for christ's sake. The Snow birds should be starting to head home soon since Easter is coming. Hopefully that'll free up some of the road space. Not to mention that it is Spring Break and vacation time for college kids. I know living near the beach no one has a flippin' clue where they are going.
EDIT: and whats a Blinker? I don't think my car has one of those.

I was down in Fort Myer's all last week and only saw one stock looking red SRT-4 the whole time down...you guys must be in hiding...I know a few of you are around...I avoided the ricer turn out at the Target/TJ Max on 41 because we have similar ricer scene here in ATL...I am hoping to move down there soon...is there a track near by at least?

You too. I didn't see you come around the corner until after I pulled into my space, then I saw you come through the parking lot. The car looks real good, better than I thought, and it sounds awesome.
I called my friend Brian (who used to own a black m6), and I asked what year his was, because his was rear ended, never fixed right, and he traded it in. His was a 2004, and I told him that you bought a 2006 Black M6, and he immediately said "not the one from Roger Dean, right?" and I'm like "well actually...". I guess he knew the guy that used to own it, and it was rear ended, not badly or anything, but the shop that fixed it did a horrible job, and I guess the bumper kept coming loose, the side skirts kept coming off, etc. I think that contributes to your back piece falling off. Anyway, it's a good car mechanically, but keep an eye on some of the cosmetics. It's good your dad owns a shop just incase something comes loose or breaks. He said Roger Dean gave his friend $17k for it on trade in, and I rorget what you said you paid for it. But anyway, your suspicions were accurate on it being hit and repaired. Nothing major. Kudos again on it!
