Already went to the Saturn Dealership and they wanted to charge a non-refundable $500 deposit to get a 5speed for me to test drive. All the have are gay automatics, and won't even look for a 5speed. Same with all the Pontiac Dealerships.
They actually told me to drive the Base model 5 speed in the lot and see if I liked it. I told them that would be like me test driving an SXT Neon and buying an SRT Neon. The GXP has 100hp more and a completely different suspension, What does test driving the base model do besides tell me if there is any blind spots. IDIOTS!
Plus Ive called every dealership before I've driven down there and each one said they had the GXP or Redline with a 5speed in stock and when I get there they pull the whole "We just sold it." But when I ask about waiving the $500 deposit to get one on the lot they say "the car won't sell and we have to have a commitment."

Fort Myers and Naples.
I have a GM Suppliers Discount, so I'm not too worried about the price.
They haven't said officially its going to be FWD. They said it's being built on a Chery FWD Chasis. But nothing about the car being FWD.
I read it on Auto week. They where saying how the car is gonna suck now thats its going to be fwd and that dodge is crazy for doing that..something in those lines.
My only problem with that car is that its going to be FWD and not RWD
Actually i posted in the thread somebody made on this forum about that. There was rumor also itwas going to be Chinese. I checked with some of the guys i know at Chrysler and they havent heard anything at all about any of that. Actually nothing has even been brought up since.....it might not even come out.

Idk, you might be right.
It says feb 11 issue of auto week page 14.
(I really began to believe that dodge might have a miata competitor with its low cost two seat demos but then i had to shake my head in disbelief when i read that dodge will be making its "sports car" with a Chinese front wheel drive chassis. Heck, even fwd manufacturer Honda knew to make the S2000 rwd. This poor guy is doomed before it even hits the production. I wonder why chrysler is operationally bankrupt.)
j. Zachorsky,aptos. calif.
I Hope to god its just a mistake/lie and they make it rwd.
