Honestly the payment. Loved the car. But 420 a month plus the fact that i mod like carzy and the thought of blowing it up and paying that monthly payment scared me. Then meet a boy who was all for hondas. He made some impressive setups a one busted my srts butt. Then i decided hell have a car with no payment and still fast and i went with it. Plus parts are really cheap if you know where to buy them. Knowing you can blow your car up and have it fixed within a day is great. I have so many blocks, heads, and parts around to build a few motors. But i loved my srt. I was just wanting to start saving for a nice place and more important things and that 400 bucks a month was a chunk. I bought my civic for 4500, painted it, new wheels and the turbo kit and at this point dont owe a penny on it. Plus my insurance is 47.00 a month.
Yeah i love that 40-100 crap. Every V8s dream. They hate it when i say i prefer to watch you spin so lets go from a dig,lol
I know what you mean man on hoping nothing major happens while still paying the bank or whoever. I just paid mine off 2 weeks ago and decided to go ahead and start some performance mods. I was paying $450 and it was my only car and just the little shit that would happen that everyone else has like syncros and little stuff like scared me because I work 40mil from home and if I did something to it and it took a shit I would be in bad shape. But, I got some extra cash bought and Expedition and paid the car off and I have started buying some things. But, I truly get what you are saying very smart and no big deal plus I got some buddies in LaBelle and Clewiston that have spanked my ass several times in the old Hondas, it’s all fun though and guess what none of them had a payment.LOL

If, all else fails just remember "Tuna and Cheese" and all will be good.
Traction bars and coilovers dont help much. I had them on my srt. Slicks will help but we cant live on them

Vtec and Chuck Norris's round house kick is a lot alike.... when it hits its all over!!
The last thing you should be worried about is VTEC!! Wait till the turbo spools
Next time your having a bad day imagine this:
You are a siamese twin.
Your brother, atttached to your shoulder is gay.
You are not.
He has a date coming over tonite.
You only have one ass!!!
05 Dodge Neon (SRT4) aka: DarkSkittle(RIP old friend)
ForwardMotion E1 motor + Built Head
GT3076 turbo kit + AFC tune
Stage 1 + BC coilovers
!!You get the idea!! SOLD
I'm no help, I got lazy and took the easy way out.
With an 03 i would definitely get a S1 PCM just because it gets rid of any of the annoying CELs and you'll get the upgraded Fuel Maps.
mee too but not by choice its been a long road ... and im sure its not over yet lol
300 whp is kinda ehhh to reach on stock turbo trust me;unless u go stage 2and fuel tuning w/decent bolt ons; it can be done but with great work and sacrifice of time it can be achived on say stage 0 or 1 if u know exactly what ur doing
I would just use the stock ecu. Dont waste for stage 2 either because most stuff will end up be traded for better stuff and stock injectors are plenty big enough for 300.
