i might be moving there soon so if i can get any info on what the people are like and how bad the car theft is and such i would greatly appreciate it.. thanks

dont know much about the thefts there but the traffic sucks BIG TIME. Everytime I go down there to Rage-Tek the traffic is unbearable. Other then that Lauderdale/Hollywood/Miami area is a nice place to be.

thats cool. im used to traffic because i just got done with school in phoenix. do you know where any good jobs are. i might be stuck as a parts guy for a while.

there was a little bit of a srt4 car theft spree, moslty around the hollywood area though, but I haven't heard anything in a while. for the most part, if you don't drive a honda/acura you will be fine...those get stolen in no time...you will like it here I'm sure. theres a pretty good scene. as far as jobs, the sun sentinal (newspaper) has a website specifically for job-hunting I believe...use google.

i got some offers but im not sure i would make enough to pay for the car and rent etc... how much is a 2 bedroom aprtment down there? ya when i was in phoenix my honda got stolen but it took them like 6 months. o and jobing.com>monster.com

it would have taken them 6 minutes to get yor honda here haha...it depends I pay $1300 for a 2 bedroom, but there is cheaper. a coworker found a 2 bedroom for 900 the other day. what exactly are you looking to do job-wise?

well i got an offer to be the parts guy at a harley dealer (I went to school for motorcycle mechanics) but i dont think that will pay the bills. also i found one for an airplane detailer which is roughly 30k a year. right now im just looking for anything

1200 in sunrise, fl for a 2/2 w/ garage gated community. it's decent don't get any smart ideas because i do have something for someone that thinks they r smart but i tend to leave my car unlocked and not worry. it really does depend on where you are. personally i would avoid, Dania, hollywood, pompano,
If i were looking right now in broward county... Sunrise, Plantation, lighthouse point, coral springs, tamarac, of course ft lauderdale beach area, pembroke pines is nice, cooper city, south west ranches, and weston.. i know i just named every city around. coral springs and tamarac are fair priced but for a little more u've got sunrise,and plantation, which is central to everything beaches, malls, schools. Look up rent free reality they take you around to rentals at no charge to you, they get payed when you choose one they help u pick.
the rest are over priced unless u get lucky with a deal.

Rent Free really depends on who you get when you go in there. my old roomates & I found an awesome place in coral springs, 1250 a month for a 1500 sq ft 3 bedroom...then one time I went there with my girl and the guy we got was just straight bullshiting us...trying to get us to pay out of our asses for some crap hole place in margate or something...

You're totally wrong out west is the first place they look for the nice cars don't matter where you are if they want it they will get it but really it's not that bad I live in hollywood have'nt heard anthing about the thefts in a while and because they caught the fuckers that were behind it so.just get a gun we can pretty much get away with murder if you can prove they were tresspassing on your property or stealing from you

Your best bet is to move in to a beater place until you find something that you like. try realtor.com i beleive they ahve rentals also. Down here alot of the nice rentals have gone condo.
