I was planning an SFL OC presently. I think the reason why a statewide OC has never manifested is because FL is so huge. I personally dont know anything about anywhere North of WPB areas. I just wouldn't be fair to have someone try to organise and plan meets for someplace they have no idea about. Ya know what I mean?
In the same sence though, I dont think We'll be turning anyone away, as long as you have an SRT (4,6,8, or 10) or share a passion for them, you have the prerequisite.
My initial reaction is there should be several chapters of the FLSRTOC, say a North, South, Central, and Gulf Coast, that would make for stronger local participation and one hell of an annual meet when we get all the chapters together. THAT could be the annual judged car show
This is only the begining, we need to collect some dues to get the ball rolling, determine a management system, elect officials like a president & treasurer, We already have our seretary of desserts and snacking (thanks Manicou_1 ) But I think first and formost we need to meet face to face and get an idea where everyone stands. Hence why I think a January meet would be a great start to 08'.

Sounds good to me not everyone lives close to each other I say we do start in 08
IMO i think half of these guy in here say yea at first, go once and then you'll never see them again, So if will are going to do this we have to make it work, If not do even keep bumping this thread...

because we don't lose anything by trying, nothing was ever accomplished in this world by thinking negatively from the get go and defeating yourself before even trying.

and network lets just get this thing going smoothly before splitting into chapters and complicating something that no one expects to actually work, and this is an owners club, not a car club, what you do with the ppl you meet from its your business.
