Eh lag is really overrated. Standard journal bearing 50 trims are going to spool up pretty decent as it is. I hit full boost at 4k rpms and lag has never held me back unless I was shifting like a noob. In a race you won't even see lower rpms than that anyways. I would save my money and use it elsewhere if it were me.
Manual boost controller or electric? Are you using the nipple on the top or bottom of the wastegate? And are you sure that you didn't loosen it all the way when you 'turned it all the way up'?
its a MBC and its the nipple on the bottom of the wastegate and no i didnt loosen it all the way up.. got 1050+ miles on the motor now

ok so i turned my boost controller all the way up and it still only goes to 5psi. so now am thinking i need another one. then i took it off to see what the wastegate pressure was at and it went alittle past 20psi and a couple of people i talk to says thats not normal. soo now am wondering do i need a new spring for the wastegate?
when you check your wastegate pressure you need to run the line from the turbo straight to the wastegate, did you do that?
