Default ahhhhhh

I finally got my ass off the couch to go to Holt and it was the worst night at the track EVER for me. I didn't get 1 good run in. I hardly made it into 3rd gear. My freakin car blasted every single ziptied vacuum line off...twice. Brake booster, The one at the throttle body, 3 or 4 differant small ones. It was rediculous. There's nothing like hearing your car backfire 2 or 3 times followed by no Brakes. To top it off, I didn't even get to engauge the nitrous. What a bummer.

Once you get you zip tie issues fixed you can borrow my slicks. Trust me dont waste your time on street tires! Power aint shit unless you get traction. Dont worry about axles or studs either. Incorrect burnouts is what kill the axles and snap lugnuts in these cars.

Thanks Mac, I appreciate the offer. Hopefully I can get everything taken care of before next week.

when I was running 17psi I had no trouble with the zip ties.. but as soon as I bumped it up to 22psi they started blowing off. Ended up double zipping everyone one of them and the only one I had a problem with after that was the one behind the turbo.. so I got a metal clamp thing... like what is on the intake. It was a pain in the ass to do but I got it on and it never came off again.

Also went to autozone and got smaller vac lines that helped a bunch. The factory are just a tad to big from what I have experienced. If you don't play hell getting the vac lines on then that means they are too loose.. thats what I have come to learn.

I looked right at you in the staging lanes and thought to myself,"that dude looks just like dapper dan." I didn't know you had a bike too. I think I'm having some sort of detonation problem with the nitrous. My car runs perfect until the nitrous is activated/used. Just my luck, it ran perfect 5 times on the dyno, I basically go straight to the track and BAM, Goes to shit. Anyone want to chime in with some nitrous problem info or links would be great.
