yawn... figured I would update yall one my car status...
motor is still in it. Been hella busy and people that said they was going to come up pull it havn't.. hoping to have it out by this weekend. Then the fun begins.
dont haev the 18mm for the bellhousing an a couple other "special" sockets/tools I need to finish it.. but once I get the help i'll have it out no problem.
did run into one problem..
Along the exhaust manifold there is a grove.. that sticks up maybe a cm.. as I was taking the bolt out it got pinched between the grove an the manifold.. epic fail because I was using my ratchin wrench an ya.. its jammed between the grove & bolt.. cant turn it back in and can't turn it back out.. sigh. anywho.. other then that no problems..

Mine is going pretty smoothly, i just need to remove the stock turbofold and do the tranny stuff and its out if i can get ahold of a lift.

Well I have 431 miles on it right now so I'm getting there. Drove to San Destin and back last night.
sounds good i have a lil something saved up. my original plan was to get 1000 miles in about 3 days because i have it all worked out about were i was going to drive it lol but who knows i might get lazy and just enjoy the car for a while instead of rushing it

The most important part of a motor break in is the heat cycles. As long as you do enough proper heat cycles and don't run it really rich then you will be good.

The most important part of a motor break in is the heat cycles. As long as you do enough proper heat cycles and don't run it really rich then you will be good.
