i'll be moved to dayshift in a couple weeks to start my outproccessing then get out of here by july. i've never raced on a track before, and would like to get some times before i leave here.
I'd like to go up there with you guys sometime. friday nights?
I was just joking about face. Nothing new having a V8 on spray Lol.. Anyways I'll be at Holt next Friday for Test and tune..
Did some work tonight... pulled out bat tray, intake, radiator ect ect.. all thats left is the left side around the belts ect ect-.- im tired an dont feel like explaining
nice so they do machining there... thank god.. i was wondering who I was going to go through.. what all do they do as far as machining?
AFAIK they dont have a machinist at their shop. More than likely they take their parts to a machinist. The one I've known to do thier work is S&P machine shop in pensacola.
dont cut the chain, just remove the WHOLE assembly and replace it with a DCR windage tray and crank scraper. thats what im doing, the WHOLE oil kit is just $500. Does anyone know if hurlburt got a E-85 Pump?
lol I wanna live on the planet you live on lol... free mod just turned into a 500.oo mod.. holy hell.. why? lol.. 500.oo = alot of other htings that could give you alot more then 10hp lol
When you make bags of money for being deployed $500 its so much money. I also dont like having 7 Qt Oil changes thats why i got the Oil kit to compensate for the extra open space.

Haha yea. Only reason I removed mine and got the windage tray and such was because the larger pickup tube doesn't fit with the assembly in there. I was pissed when I had to spend $350 more to get the tray.

You DON'T like having 7 quart oil changes? Removing the assembly and getting a bigger filter will do that.
And technically you CAN just plug the oil feed but you will have oil sloshing around in the crankcase and could be a serious problem if you enjoy taking turns with a little enthusiasm. I don't really do curves but the extra security was worth it to me.
ok so can you just remove the chain or do you have to remove the whole thing becauase i dont have 500 right now. am with rob lol and am glad you can get over 400 with stock axles just aslong as i dont take it to the track i should be fine lol.. 40 rolls for me lol
