so I take my car 2 get aligned and the guy tells me that he cant align it if its been dropped (my fault maybe for telling him? first time Ive had a lowered car so Im new 2 this part) he said only one place in town can do it, he cant do it because his machine only knows stock factor alignment and now that the camber has been messed with and there are diff springs on it that I need 2 take it to a shop that deals with lowered cars...Anyone in Orlando (UCF) know where 2 get it aligned at? Is he right or feeding me bs..? Thanks
Got to do it .... Stock settings is all you need to re-align your vehicle... If he can get them close to stock( you may need camber bolt/kit) ... then you should be good to go... You may also want to search the boards for improved camber/toe settings.. and have a better shop dial those in for ya... Take it to another shop... after a statement like that I would'nt let them touch my car. Good luck man
Well, Being a alignment Tech my self "Technically" Were not suppose to do it, ( I work at Firestone) But the boss asks me if "I" want to deal with a droped car, Depending on if it's a PITA/ If I'm in the mood. we will do it.

Yea, I have been in your shoes... "technically" your right... but any good alignment/chassis tech should be able to figure it out. Typically When aligning a vehicle with aftermarket chassis components (sp?) I just let the customer know that they will be paying more for an alignment... $$$
all you have to do is find a non-mainstream alignment shop to do it. I take my car to a guy's personal business shop and he does dropped cars. Any of the main alignment/wheel/tire places wont handle you. I had the same problem.
