Are there any neon clubs active in daytona ? before i bought my neon uhhh SRT-4 i drove a yellow 03 with black rims, side exhaust that just got traded into daytona dodge...this was quite a few months back, but it had a daytona neon club or daytona neon crew sticker on it still...are you guys on the forum?

Well, the DNC is pretty much gone. A few of them probably still meet up, but the few friends I had that went there stopped going. Its really more of a show club with some distasteful cars... and the rest of Daytona absolutely hates them. A few guys actually made a website awhile back (toothlesscars.com) purely against them since their site was (Ruthlesscars.com.) If your into graphics and stuff like that, they have plenty of it... if your more into speed and horsepower, you prolly want to find somewhere else.
yeah sure...multiple cars in the 12s on stock turbos...all about show. They also do alot of stereo work and have several show oriented members. The DNC is mostly gone, but a few still meet up, in fact the last meeting about 6 days ago, had 21 people there. PM me and I'll give you the contact info or you can goto the ruthlesscars.com (hey isn't there a vendor on here named ruthless? wonder if that has anything to do with the website name?) and email Tom for the info.

Yeah you bought Josh's 03. That car was running low 13s on DR's at one point. remember it well.

Yep, that was Josh's car. I just talked to him maybe a few hours ago. Really good guy. He said he hopes you enjoy it. His member name is/was SRT4shizzle. 13.220@102.85 on DR's.
i am for one, 12.8 on the stock turbo and street tires...and atleast one other (rhett) one 12.7 with DR's. They're are also 2 oranges working on getting the cars into that range as well, and Lt_srt was starting to road race it before he had to relocate.

Theres a car in the 12's? Not that I know of. Tom stopped going to DNC as far as I know. I'm not sure Rhett considers himself a DNC member... I quit going after I saw a 1985ish primer Caddilac with 22's... maybe he runs 12's now. or maybe Nick with the 3G Eclipse. Super fast cars, I'm sure of it

Fair enough... I remember i thought your car was lowered because of all the AV stuff you have in the back. Congrats on winning the awards, I just couldn't do it personally. The extra weight kills. Laz just took 200lbs out of his SRT and said he noticed a pretty good difference... Anyways, I think enough has been said here. Adam should go out and see for himself, maybe its just going to be right up his alley... Maybe not, time will tell.

He should have the fastest SRT in Daytona, once he puts the return line in and tunes. As far as I know, he has the highest confirmed WHP at 383. I havn't heard much about Tom's car though, it may be quicker.
