Default A couple questions

OK I live in Miami and wanted to know which is the best dealer to go get my car serviced.

Im looking for a dealer that has some knowledge of common problems with our cars, the reason is I went to Planet Dodge to a regular maintenance and told them that I might have a TPS problem cuz my revs stick sometimes and they couldnt duplicate it and told me all is fine and my car is still acting up. I dont even think they filled all my fluids correctly.

Just recently my gears have been acting up. Now when its harder to get into second, first gear feels like Im pushing thru something before engaging and third it just feels like it grinds. So if I take the car in for service which dealer would be best.

I have an 04 with 13k only Mopar CAI, catback,BOV, MM and CC. Thats it no track, occasional aggresive driving. All maintenance done at dealer.

Could it be the weather getting hotter, even the gas I use. I went from BP and Shell to Citgo and Chevron cuz gas $$$ is crazy. Sorry for the long post, I just want a decent dealer to go to. Thanks in advance.

I've taken my car to planet/South Dade dodge and they are a bunch of assholes who really dont know much of what they are doing, although i did get my entire front steering assembly replaced under warranty.

Try Spitzer dodge of Homestead, they always took care of my family when my mom had her intrepid and my sister had her dakota.

Oh and it should never matter what weather and what brand of fuel you use ( as long as it is 93/91 octane), the car should never act up the way you're describing

Thanks for the update. Does the Spitzer Dodge in Homestead have knowledge on SRT4's as far as the common problems? Which dealer or where do you guys get your maintenance?

About the gas you know I thought it was just me but I do feel a difference between some gas stations, now I never go to those cheap gas stations like a Ugas or Amerigas and those types, I stick to all the big ones and the cheapest I go is Chevron or Citgo.

But for all you Miami guys with SRTs where do you go get your service done? 12,000 15,000 miles maintenance? What dealer you say is best for service? Please some advice guys.

Nex-O PX-5's. Thanks.

And honestly i dont know how yall feel a difference, Ugas gets their crude oil from the same place that shell and exxon/mobil and BP and all those people... from the ground. And the refinement process is exactly the same between all the gas companies, shit some of them probably use the same refineries. Could be that your car is tuned too sensitively? Or if it's stock your car is damn picky.

I always get my gas from Westar, chevron, or Ugas because they are an average of 10-30 cents cheaper than say BP or Shell (2 most expensive stations here in miami).
