I just saw on Fox 35 news that the cops are looking for a blue STI or WRX. Apparently this car was racing with another car and the other car wrecked and the driver died. Passenger lived.....he was talking on the news that he wants the driver of the car to "be a man" and face his responsibilities......it sucks that someone died but I dont think the driver of the blue sti is responsible...unless he held up the driver at gunpoint and forced him to race. I dont think that is the case here. They gave a description of the car...(aftermarket exhaust, and stickers on the rear or side of the car).
last week in tampa, the cops were looking for a newer RED NEON with a big spoiler according to the news(I was laughing telling myself when an SRT owner gets pulled over because he's fitting the description the cops have he's going to tell the cop first that-SIR MY CAR ISN'T A NEON---like the cops would know--lol). The suspect was pretending to be some tobacco company person and telling stores that the cigarettes they are selling was expired and he had tao take the cigarettes back to the company...
yeah that is freakin BS whenever i race someone we have pretty much a unsaid mutual agreement that if the cops come if you can get away get away if the other person gets caught there no hard feelings,no need for both of us to go to jail. The passenger is probably just mad that the guy died and he is going to jail for knowingly riding in a car that was street racing.

i dont think the passenger will go to jail... if it was a spur of the moment race, he couldn't have known he would be riding in a car that was street racing, i'm pretty sure they didn't get in the car saying they were going to go race someone, it just happened.
police are also looking for a white sti that was racing a turbo civic hatch that crashed out on 528 near the 520 bridge. seems like STi's are involved in a lot of racing crashes lately.

i dont know man there getting pretty serious about this street racing thing now these days. Id hate to be in anyone of there shoes right now. Hope to god they didnt have a camera rolling in the car or there definately ass out.
Maybe it was a white one. They showed a blue STi on the news. Crazy stuff man. What kind of fault would the driver of the STi have??? Silly hondas always want to test bad ass cars. Hondas rev at me all the time...an STi is faster than me and they still insist on messing with them too? I once saw a honda rev at a Viper (older guy driving too, maybe 50s). The Viper stayed back like a car or two at the light. Once the light changed the Viper had the guy by like two cars before they crossed the intersection.........funniest shit I ever saw!!!!
i used to have a si it was turbo i kept up with stock srts all day but some old guy cut me off so the si got totaled but now i have a srt. so some civics have wut it takes.
Florida law makes him punishable....its called leaving scene of accident with death...even though he had no direct 'contact'. Tis the law...but I consider the "be a man" comment to be uber ghey.

what does a make have to do with testing bad ass cars? if you saw a viper, would you not try to mess with him? he'd probably be saying the same thing you're saying, "silly srt." so please don't be judgemental just based on make and model.
for your information the civic was turbo. the reason the civic crashed, they were coming up on the 520 overpass which has construction and it merges to 1 lane, the sti cut infront of the civic while they were racing, and slammed on the brakes to slow down so he wouldn't be flying through a construction zone. the civic slammed on it's brakes so as to not rear-end the sti, he couldn't stop fast enough and pulled on the wheel so he wouldn't go into the back of the sti and ended up in the guardrail.
if the sti had not cut infront of the civic, the accident wouldnt have happened, all this is testimony from the passenger. both of whom, driver and passenger, are a friend of a friend.

I get you. That would put him partly at fault for cutting off the other driver.
As far as your question to if I would test a viper. Hmmm...most likely not. Once I get big turbo (or better said if it ever happens) then I may step up! But right now...too slow.

Exactly. Take street racing out of the scenario and that would still be the charge. But street racing is illegal so add that to the list along with a possible accessory charge. Depends on how creative the DA would want to get.
