I know that the cold weather is the cause for my low boost, because my computer is controlling boost. I was just wondering if those of you who have boost controllers or rerouted vaccum lines are seeing a drop in boost due to colder weather. I'm only seeing 10 lbs right now, but my car is stronger than ever. If your not dropping boost, how is your car fealing?
Haven't noticed a drop in boost. Car does feel stronger but nothing worth bragging about, just a little stronger. BTW have AGP WGA and Profec B II with no spike holding 15psi to redline.
I am just wondering, because I am seeing 15-16psi peak on Stage 2 (no toys) with the cooler weather. I believe I was running 17-18psi peak a couple weeks ago when the weather was warmer.
I usually run 15 and then it climbs to 17 then falls to about 13 at redline. I havent had time to put more tension on the WGA, but i've been meaning to. I'd like to do that when the weather returns to normal so that i can see the real amount of boost im running.
Bt the way, your running stage 2 w/o, but are you PCM controlled?

Eh my car only acts up for first 15min of driving. Soon as its warmed up, woo 16-17 is no problem(S1+stock wga). I just need to have someone put my S2 wga in now haha.
my boost goes up in the weather. Usually 17 or 18 in the cold its 19 or 20
sounds like your computer is confused.
i'm MBC controlled and i still hit 22psi even in the 40's
no complaints here ran my best at the track with it cold like this. Was hitting 19lbs all night and the next day back at 18 like usual. Just got cold again was just giving it gas last night to see if it would register the same and sure enough back at 19 again. Nothing wrong with that. I like my dumb computer.
PCM Boost controlled, Stock wastegate and no BC, the car will boost less on cold weather, but will no lose any power. Just the computer ajusting cause on low temps. Super low btw, is freaking cold outside.

Thats what I thought. So I guess now's not a good time to adjust my WGA tension. Ehh, couple turns wont hurt...

I know I'm not from the area but... here in MA when it's about 25 in the mornings my boost only spikes to about 13 psi. I am running stock pcm and stock wga. 10 psi seems a little low though im not sure. the car still runs as strong or maybe slightly stronger.
