Default is this clutch any good?

Are the ACT clutches any good, im thinking of getting the 4 or 6 puck.

Im not really sure though, havent heard too much about ACT, and is the aluminum flywheel really worth it, the kit i was looking at it was 608 plus tax and shipping for the 6 puck and the aluminum flywheel.

any input would be appreciated, gotta make a decision today, and if you think the ACT isnt that great put what you think I should get with the mods I have, E.D. super beast, coldside w/ HKS, needswings DP, magnaflow catback, kinetic wastegate(17 psi), SRI, motor mounts, im planning on going with either an sst, enforcer 1, or stage 3 down the road...so consider that into mind too.

thanks alot!!

Matthew

ACT is a good clutch, but i would go with the street disc. It will support up to 450lbs/tq and still keeps the "stock" feel. Unless you plan on going big turbo, you dont need a puck disc. Also, go to revolution motorsports. $599 shipped Bia!

just got my ACT street disk and flywheel wheel in last night... clutch pedal is a lil bit stiffer than stock but i think its more comfterble... for warning tho when u have the tranny out check the TOB fork... i made the mistake of not checking mine... got the tranny back in and my fork was hitting the pressure plate.... check it first and deff replace it if its worn down

i dont think im getting the aluminum flywheel though, kinda tight on cash and if it isnt going to do THAT much then id rather save the extra $250 just cuz im broke, gotta buy a new battery, and oil change and just regular maintenance

Will the act pressure plates bolt up to stock? I thought all the act clutches were non-modular and you had to get the flywheel with it.
