On stock turbo, no. Big turbo @ 340hp vs Chip/Exhaust/Intake = side by side. Pretty sure there is a video in the vids. section of a stock turbo racing a 135i and walking it.
i havnt raced one personally, but my friend has an 06 STi with turbo back, injen cai, and accesport COBB tuned stage 2. he raced a 335i with intake, exhaust, and some sort of chip from a 40 roll, and the STi took it by like... 2 cars, they were at about 90+ mph on a public road with 5 o'clock traffic so they had to slow it down a bit haha.
for an SRT to beat a 335i im thinkin we'd need some bolt ons [intake, boost controller, exhaust, port and polished intake mani, and exhaust mani, and a stage 1 or 2 pcm would do the trick of givin those 335i's a run for their money!
STi vs 335i = 335i
stock turbo + bolt ons SRT4 vs 335i = ? to be announced! muahaha
German turbo cars are very restricted...read up or look at the dyno sheets of an Audi and/or VW GTI...just with a chip, intake, & turbo-back they have gained anywhere from 25-35whp, and 40-50wtq
I have beaten a few stock 335i coupes. They are damn quick. I am on stock turbo with wga at about 17 lbs plus a 3 inch TBE and some other goodies. I imagine if some of the pussies driving them actually new how to handle their car, they could do a little better :P I would love to own one myself.

It has all the nannies in the world Doubt they need to do much other than step on it I drove one and it felt slow as hell, then I saw the speedo and was at 100+ from a dig
