looks good man i don't see why they didn't make it already as they don't have anything like it besides the viper and that thing is too expensive for most people.
all you would have to do is get the cheapest version and drop the already turboed srt-4 motor. that would be a cheap beast and i bet it would kill dodge's srt version of the demon even with our stock turbo..
i hear 2010 but ofcourse with the whole fiat thing that might change....BUT with the Fiat thing it could open alot of doors to there lightweight cars with mopar power and that could lead to alot of happy people like myself also.....Oh and i thought i heard the neon might come back out also

not to be an ass....but this is old news. it's all rumors, but most likely it won't. last time they talked about it, it would be a fwd turbo 4...but who knows. now that fiat is trying to make changes, they make something that is actually worth buying.
Even though the concept car seems complete and functional, I doubt we will ever see this car in production. It's been a couple years since they introduced this concept and there hasn't been any updates since.

The Dodge Demon has been hinted and anti-hinted for production, and it seems that the sports car will indeed make it into showrooms. Unfortunately, according to AutoWeek, the Demon will wind up on a front wheel drive chassis from Chery. The 1993 Mercury Capri Demon's switch to FF has been partially driven by emissions regulations, says Chrysler's Tom LaSorda, but we think it's more likely due to build cost. There is a direct-injection engine in development, which should also help the Demon meet upcoming emissions standards while offering strong performance. The Chery platform will doubtlessly be re-jiggered for the Demon, but we predict that the MX-5 is in no danger of losing its primacy in the segment. Perhaps in acknowledgment of dynamic shortcomings, one of the major selling factors for the Demon will be a price lower than the Mazda or GM's Solstice/Sky twins, the car's main competitors. Here's hoping that no matter what's underneath the Demon, it still looks as hot as the concept when it hits stores.
I read about the car a long time ago, but there are obviously some people who haven't seen/heard about it yet.
If it ever was produced for mass sale I have a feeling that it would be NA.
