i ran a boost leak test today and i heard a leak coming out from the fourth injector. would that leak make a loud whistling noise some how?
i have been looking on the forums about boost leak tests and people with the loud whistling noise never explain how they fixed their problems. anyone know how i should go about fixing this problem?
What he said.................check and or replace the o ring.
i wish it would be that easy. knowing me, im not the one to start pulling things apart not knowing how. if i do, it wont go back together. i maybe could research or something, but as of now, the leak sounds like it comes out of that certain injector and the odor of gas comes out. and would it be the source of the whistling when the engine is warm at idle?

If you want roll by my house either tomorrow or thursday. I'll help you do a boost leak test.
Its definately the oring then if you can smell the gas or see fuel leaking around the injector. Its not that hard to do but maybe one of the other guys can help you out.
I had the same thing happened to me before when swapping intake manifolds.
