That way running 750cc injectors on a stock turbo would be uber cool. It's also a cheaper unleaded race gas which I wouldn't mind at all. It will apparently clean that little sock at the end of your fuel assembly as well. I believe there are only three stations in the entire state of California. The closest one to me being in San Diego. It's only 70 miles away.

When I was in nebraska or kansas or one of those 'children of the corn' states, I put the E85 in my car, and it ran like utter poo-poo. I dunno....maybe the station I stopped at had a bad tank or something.
edit* using the E85 was purely by accident. All I looked for was an octane number....didn't really see what kind of gas it was.....

doesnt it have more octane but less btu's? if it cleans our systems thats all id use it for. i heard that it can EAT components, so thats not cleaning them at all. i dont think ouur cars are flex fuelers like ford rangers and taurus.

you need roughly 33% more ethanol than gasoline thats why you guys cars were running like crap. you'll also need bigger fuel injectors. You also need to be tuned to it. You can't just put in in your gas tank and go.

Exactly. It's a whole different animal. Regular Neon guys in the Midwest are having all the fun.
It's no wonder E85 runs like crap, your PCM is programmed to mix air and fuel at a 14.7:1 ratio (except during WOT). With E85 (ethanol), you need to change to like 8:1 or something MUCH richer to run right.
