What did you run? Yeah you have an advantage at the track, but on the highway Evo 8's shouldn't run all that power and still losing.
I think the dealer didn't want the owner to have too much pleasure from both ends of the spectrum, so he must've tweaked some values in the ECU to restrict the EVO's topend... No matter, nothing that a little tuning can't fix..
I got 13.05@105mph (California Speedway) with 274awhp. When you beat it, I'll run the car down the track again (in Dallas)..Hopefully that won't be till next year sometime..

I ran a 13.6 @103 with ghetto mods on with stock turbo, maybe 250 hp. oh yeah bald tires too!
13.01 is nothing to brag about i'll just say that. If Mistu didn't want people to have fun at both ends of the spectrum (Dig, roll, topend, whatever) then they wouldn't have built a nine.
Which beats your 13.1 stock and puts busses on the highway.... Nuff said?

I had $50 in mods and ran that time, mine is an 03 too no limited slip! You say two ends of the spectrum, ok.. but what did you run when you were stock with $50.00 worth of mods into your car??
