Dump open makes a huge difference, you should have told me and I would have taken it off real quick before you guys ran.

For refrence dump closed I was pulling anthony by 1/2 to maybe a full car, open 2 cars ez, before he modded.

Yeah, Garrett, I totally feel you bro. Cause like I tell everyone before I run, my car is really not that quick cause I did exactly what you did. I threw parts on and am running untuned and on stock maps. Honestly, I think the only way my car is doing ok, is because of the open Downpipe. Cause the intake actually slows our cars down without a tune. We both need to get retuned and then run them again.

what happened to no excuses remember? cause isnt that basically all of us... johan, duvill,me,you, stephen, garrett shit man none of us have hit a dyno recently

I can't believe you would say that to Anthony, who drives and AWD car and just does roll with us SRT boys. Not to mention he raced knowing he will lose most times. He is the last person to make excuses. Not to mention you don't need a dyno to be tuned. Garrett and Anthony neither have excuses they admit it was a good race and will race again once they have finished thier set ups.

wasnt talking to you read my later post

Lol, so what i'm the leg humping fly, you can't get rid of me.

Just want to add, Orange whippens car is a beast.....

Ant did you race Johann?

Lol its alright I stick my foot in teh mouth all the time thats why Im a post editing bastard

Me and Johann didn't race last night. Those bastard smashed out after denny's.

BTW mole, K20 turbo in the little prelude (I mean accord...my bad) would decimate all.

my car is a Honda accord.........not a prelude. the Motor is going to cost to much to spend extra $$$ on a turbo............might just put that $$ down on something new. SRT-8 charger maybe. the get a SC for it.
not sure yet.

WAAAAY back in the day when Dave with Dynowks was still around doing dyno days, I did a run to find out exactly what the diff between the cutout open and shut was. If memory serves correctly, I had well over 12hp moreto the ground with it open. That doesn't seem like much, but again, I was on stock piping size/opening, and had pretty much nothing else done. I don't see why 20-40hp or so is un-feasible on a built motor/turbo.

I probably would agree that with the cutout open, I would lose some torque. Because I know when mine is closed, It feels more torquey, but when its open, the car is much faster.

I think I have to agree with you on that... I'll start digging around and see if I can find those graphs somewhere...

I saw a thread on it awhile back where they said it helped hp but hurt tq.What would be nice is if they found a way to make a controller so it progressively opened based on rpm that would be sick.

their new electronic switch is SICK! I used to use the toggle on the SRT... Hold UP for 3.5 seconds, and it's closed, hold DOWN etc... Now, it's PUSH THE FARGGIN BUTTON I NEED NOISE! He has an exhaust, it's not fair! :-P

They do have one like that, Its controlled off of boost. When there is a certain psi of boost, the cutout is opened.

But there were no noticable gains over just having the cutout open, all it does is cause the motor to wear faster.
